Blackberry not updating unread marks james root and cristina scabbia dating
It fails to scroll, because over time, it fills up with oil and grime from your fingers. Now, unlike a computer keyboard, you can’t stick it in a dishwasher.Roughly every 60 minutes when a mail file is active (receiving email etc) the Blackberry Enterprise Server will check it for updates and queue those updates to be sent to the handheld. When a mail file is not changing we have seen this delay grow up to about 90 minutes.
I will definitely try checkng the cache delay and setting OWA to compatibility mode.
You mark your local message as READ, and this needs to sync with Exchange before OWA can see that change. The alternative is to speed up the sync intervals if you must run cached mode.
See this link for details: She does not have a blackberry but I will check and see if she is using another mail client.
Unfortunately, the read/unread status in not updating in OWA when she marks an email read in Outlook. To further complicate the issue, we have a Citrix Desktop she uses sometimes too. Mark as read delay If you still want the message to be automatically marked as read when you are reading it, but not when you are quickly browsing through your emails, then you can set a delay of several seconds before the message should be marked as read.
I have made sure her reading pane settings are the same (do not mark as read just because it was displayed.) I have deleted her local and allowed it to reboot. For instance, if reading an email takes you at least 10 seconds and when you quickly go through your emails, you won’t be looking at the message for longer than 5 seconds, then you set your delay to 10 seconds. It is when she goes into OWA that emails she marked as read in Outlook do not show as read. Messages which she had marked as read a day ago in Outlook and which show as read in Outlook are showing as unread in OWA.
Doing that would certainly break your warranty and won’t fix the problem.
